What a great day for the 2009 Mcdonald Forest Trail Runs just north of Corvallis! You couldn't ask for a more perfect morning with cool temps and over 300 participants in both the 5K and 15K! This race is one of our favorites and the trails and scenery are amazing. 2009 marks our second year in a row running this event. The race is well organized and always attracts some pretty tough competition! I was able to PR my time from last year and finished in 51st overall with 1:12:55 and shandi crushed her last years time by 6 minutes finishing 11th overall female in 1:17:52!  Also a couple others from our group Mike Rosling and William Swint killed it in 1:04:27 and 1:05:37 respectively! Salem's Mike Tyler who has been off the last few month's with an injury ran a heck of a race in 1:02:40 and first Masters! Great job guys! Results are in and congratulations to everyone for finishing this challenging Trail Run!
